I am going to begin listing all the things that FOGS and Robin Costello have brought to the shelter and the community of animals in Gallatin County KY in the past 4 years in groups of 10: 1. Monthly spay and neuter UCAN pick up at Warsaw Library 2. Shelter open DAILY, 1 to 5 pm, including holidays 3. Vaccination of all animals entering shelter thereby preventing parvo and distemper 4. Deworming all animals thereby eliminating hookworm, roundworm, tapeworm from shelter animals that previously killed many 5. Cleaning kennels daily according to recommended protocols 6. Providing clean bedding, litter, food and fresh water constantly available 7. PRoviding medicines for cats, kittens, dogs and puppies for eye infections, Upper Respiratory Infections, ear infections, skin infections, mange as instructed by vet. 10. Taking animals to vet for emergency and needed vet care and providing that care instead of euthanizing, and raising funds as needed.
