I am going to break out of character here for one moment. Recently, one among us has lost a close member in their family. I cannot even hope for my feeble words to offer any solace in the dark times you are going through now, yet I will do so as I know anyone of you would do if I were in this position. To say I know exactly what you feel would be an insult, yet I understand. I understand the loss of those close to you, to be fair this is something I have had my fair share of. My hopeful contribution to you and your family during these trouble times is just one idea. I have recently come crossed a quote that describes this justifiably, “Life is an endless cycle of souls, swirling along the path of the universe, being reborn, but never truly dying before being reborn again. As long as this cycle continues, we will never really die.” This is the idea that I submit to you. To say that they are gone is, in my mind, not true. They live within you and everything around you and will do so as long as life exists. They are with you, thinking of you, guiding you in your life so that you may life a happy life like they want you to. That is what they want you to be, happy. Its in these times that I take it upon myself to listen to them, to be a better person, to life a better life, and most importantly, take them with me where ever life takes me. It is never easy at first, you feel alone in the world, like the sun had suddenly disappear, but if you open your eyes and listen, youll find out theyve been with you the whole time. Take it how you will, but as always, no matter what, Im here for you always and I wish you and your family solace.
