I am going to do a MAJOR fact spam so here goes the second round the first 10 are from the first round then there are new ones after that! #1- Cloves death was changed due to the graphic nature the final edit was thresh slamming her into the wall of the cornucopia until her head cracked and she died #2- It took around 15 years for peeta to convince katniss to have kids she was 18 when the books end so when she finally did have the first kid she was 33 years old. #3- In both the 74th and the 75th hunger games the male tribute from district 2 was the last to die. #4- The four note melody that katniss uses as her signal with rue is C-B-A-G #5- Glimmer is the only person in the hunger games to ever be killed twice by the same person as katniss is later given credit for killing the glimmer mutt #6- There was only ever two people that was alive before the hunger games were created that was mags and president snow #7- Cinna asked for district 12 for unknown reasons although there are some reasons suggested later on. #8- out of all of the known tributes it is mostly females that have won the games #9- Alexander Ludwig worked for four hours a day with a US Navy seal to get into shape for his role of cato. #10- Although an avox cannot speak they can whistle #11- In the film adaptation of the hunger games jennifer lawrence did not do the whistle for katniss #12- most of the actors from the hunger games were normally stunt doubles ( Im guessing this includes the no-named tributes and the people that you dont see very much and arent in the next movie) #13-Collins didn’t originally plan to make The Hunger Games a trilogy. When she got to the end of the first book, she knew there had to be a sequel, because she knew Katniss would be punished for almost eating the nightlock berries. #14- After reading the trilogy, Donald Sutherland sent a three-page email to director Gary Ross about his perception of President Snow.
