I am going to have to disagree with this assertion. My vote for the biggest genocide would go to the Chinese/Mongol Golden Horde under Genghis Khan. Modern historians can only estimate the Amer-Indian population at 1491. Most died as a result of disease, not warfare. You MUST remember that the Amer-Indian tribes had been fighting and killing each other with great zest for hundreds if not thousands of years prior to the European White tribes visiting America. Menzies says that the Chinese fleet visited America in 1423 but I question that. He would have contaminated the Indians because the Chinese had the same diseases that the Europeans had.
