I am going to kinda wade into this subject feet first because I was asked too, so some of you need to help and fill in more than I know. This concerns the every two year reunion of attendees and or graduates of Geo. S. Gardiner High School. I am not on any committee planning this reunion, but my wife Linda and I have attended each since they were started. Gardiner attendees/graduates originally from the schools years of 1926-1962 were the original purpose of the reunion. This year the reunion will be held again and many postcards were mailed giving a date. Well: problems arose with the place planned (Ramada Inn in Laurel) for the date stated. Shriners more or less had planned with Ramada for that date first. Now the date has been changed about a week. It will now be May 1, 2 and 3, 2014 still at the Ramada Inn. Not only all Gardiner attendees are welcome at the reunion during those years, but also included are the Watkins graduates of 1963 and 1964 because of the first two years of high school they attended Gardiner. My graduating class was 1954, so this will be our 60th annversary reunion. Now this information comes from Joe Watson of Laurel who is one of the planners of that event, so it is current up to this point....If any of you have changes or want to add to this comment please do....
