I am going to share this video with you all. Its one of the most precious things in existence to me. This was taken last year in August on our first big adventure up to Medicine Lodge. We woke up at 4 in the morning (after going to bed sometime after 1) and drove to this absolutely gorgeous place by dawn. We hiked to this beautiful ridge and that is where we watched the sunrise together. It was so peaceful. Things were always peaceful when Spencer was near. Especially when we were out in nature. We spent most of the morning watching animals from our perch on that ridge. We saw two GIANT bull elk, and Spencer expressed to me his respect for animals. He told me that he didnt want to kill something just because it would make a nice trophy. He said that, as beautiful as those elk were, he didnt need one this year, so he wouldnt be shooting any. He just wanted to watch and observe and enjoy them. I respected that so much. This video was shot in the afternoon. After we had sufficiently animal watched, we drove to another area with a really beautiful lookout over this vast desert valley. We were surrounded by a heard of cows. I jokingly mentioned that we should go ride them. This ensued: (Im sorry its turned sideways. It was shot with my cellphone and theres no way for me to change it that I know of.
