I am going to take a break from all social media. What happened to the days where people would communicate face to face? What happened to the days where the need to impress was only reserved for loved ones and close friends? Selfies? When did this egotistical practice take hold of so many? When did the need to post status updates gain the power to help us validate our thoughts? So many have become a slave to this new way of interaction, including myself. Selling our souls to those on our friends list who really dont deserve a glimpse into our personal lives anyways. We have created an online ego and for most the need to feed that ego is absurd. This is not meant to insult, rather meant to inspire. Im going to be taking some time away from fb, instagram, etc. I might be back with a new perspective, or i might not be back at all. Gotta cleanse my mind of social medias filth and habitual use. Hakuna Matata my friends. Namaste.
