I am going to take a more organized stab at gardening this year. I spend a lot of money in local potatoes and onions so those two are a must. I also want to produce and store enough broccoli and cauliflower for the cold months. Im thinking freezing them? Cauliflower crust pizza is a big hit in our house and at $7 a head of cauliflower, I cant keep this up forever. Also tomatoes, so I can jar em up and save money on spaghetti sauce all winter. The kids and I are going to slave on the wild berry picking, as well. A couple years of paying top dollar for safe food is incentive to figure out how to grow and store the things I use the most. Last year was my first attempt ever at gardening and it didnt go well!! So thats it. Potatoes, onions, broccoli, cauliflower and tomatoes. I can learn how to grow five things this year. Monica, Im going to chew your ear off over this! I got questions!
