I am gonna give a little shameless plug here, a shout out to the two coffee shops I regularly frequent in our area, andto the people there and the environments they help create. Super thankful for the connections and the friendships Ive made with the ladies and gentlemen who are more than simply my coffee shop baristas, they are friends, people I can and do talk to easily and without hesitation about real life and ministry at times, and who are genuinely interested in my life and ministry. Thanks especially to Brandon Baugh, Rachel Morgan and the newbie, Riley Davidson at Russellville Mountain Mudd, and to Allison Nokleby and Julia Christine Smith at Hardback Coffee Cafe @ Hastings. There are others, but those are the ones I truly count as friends, and Ive realized, increasingly so, that coffee shops done right can parallel and do things that the church can learn from. :)
