I am grateful for the 6 hours that I had with Bob yesterday. 6 hours to hear his wonderful voice as he spoke to me, to feel his lips on mine as he kissed me, and to see his beautiful smile light up the room. I dont know what this day will bring but the Lord will give me strength for today. The doctor told me that they believe that after the heart attack, Bob did had a spinal stroke and not an infection after all. The prognosis for recovery is low. The paralysis is significant...from his chest down, this is why his is unable to maintain his oxygen level on his own. I do not accept this! He is not the patient, he is not bed 58, he is my husband, he is Bob, and he is a Child of God!
