I am happiest when my daughter is with me, I am happiest when she is away from me, making her own life and home. You see, most mothers only wish to Keep their children with them, out of fear and control but I learned that, my child belongs to this universe not unto me. I was just blessed enough to be called her mom, this go round and when I start to have melancholy or miss her, she feels me and calls or txts. It is a bond that cannot be broken no matter how far away she is and today, I think about my mother and know...No matter how far away from me she is, She feels me and will message me, in her own little way. Such as someone randomly texting Sis to me, when that was my moms name....Thank you for this journey called Mothers and daughters and in time, I will have the pleasure of seeing my daughter become Mom. PS: to my mother, thank you for helping me figure out how to do the birthday cake, you always know and I always know....
