I am happy and proud to be an AAP supporter, as much as anyone else. My heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the leaders, the various committee members, the FB contributors, either through their ir shared posts, photos, cartoons caricatures, writings, their photos of proverbs, sayings, the donors, the news delverers those on the streets volunteering, facing attacks sometimes, the fund raisers and so many others. These Aam Admi, from the children to teenagers, to middle aged to the old senior citizens, the very old whose only contribution to the AAP is hardly noticeable, and done in ways within their capacity, all come together to form , what is called the AAM ADMI PARTY. Some, specially the young or middle aged robust stalwarts, the brave courageous ones, are foolhardy enough to face anything , whether the goons or the legal summons for either their posts on FB, or for their protests on the streets, or the physical attacks, the verbal slurs. These are the ones with hot blood in their veins out to change the system. Then their are those who give up everything in life in a spirit of sacrifice, for the AAP. Then there are those who post their views and suggestions either through the FB or Twitter, or Blogs. AAP is truly a party made up of diverse people, all contributing their might. These are the pride of the nation, have no doubt. That being so, would it be fair for anyone to compare one AAP supporter from another, compare the value of one contribution from another? Why this tendency to belittle the loyalty, the courage of another with some one elses heroics? Why this attitude of I am more loyal than the other, I have a braver heart than the other? Why this need to judge the intent, worth of another ? Do such comments enhance the unity within the party? Does any one have the right to set a standard for her or him to be of value to AAP? Should we not understand that there may be many a reason for an individual to limit his or her contributions to AAP ? If AAP has to flourish it can do so only when we all realize that each of us has supported AAP for our own beliefs, and within their capacity. . I am sure that my observations may not be liked by quite a lot of people, but, then , this is my contribution to the well being of AAP. We have to appreciate and win over even those who are noncommital towards giving support to AAP, and who have a benevolent attitude to AAP ideals and goals, but are hesitant to take a position in politics. Sneering at them will not serve any purpose, nor will the attitude of being more informed help AAP LikeLike · · Promote · Share
