I am happy to announce some recent business developments. I have more collaborations to begin announcing next week, but as of right now, I am going to start with the most important one. The paperwork I was signing last week was to legalize a partnership for my business, LUX. Sometimes, you just have to realize you need help. That you cant always do it all on your own. Well, maybe some people can, but I cant, haha. The past two years have provided me with important experience in this realm of doing business for yourself and promoting on your own. I have learned my strengths, as well as my weaknesses in these areas. I have come to realize that when it comes to numbers and record keeping, I fail miserably. I also struggle to keep up with all the messages and emails I receive. From my business gmail account, my personal email, messages on here, and even texts... keeping up with it all has caused me a certain level of anxiety in recent months. And considering that it is all just getting busier, now, there was no way for me to remain even remotely balanced if I did not bring on assistance for these things. So, enters a very trusted friend of mine, Natalie White. She not only has over 15yrs of accountant like expertise, but she also possesses exemplary secretary skills. Natalie will be taking care of the financial end of what I do, and keeping all the necessary records. She will also be fielding most of my business accounts through google voice and gmail so that appointments are responded to and confirmed promptly, accurately, and professionally. Now, anybody that contacts LUX for appointments or minor questions will most likely be corresponding with Natalie. I trust Natalie immensely and have followed my intuition on making this decision. She is fully capable of this task, and will be a welcomed relief for me in these areas. I look forward to the opportunity to be even more personally productive, now, in the creative aspects of what I need and want to accomplish with my work :) Many of you that follow me on here have expressed interest in finding out more on what Im doing or referenced being interested in making appointments. So, I wanted to let everyone know what they can expect when contacting me this way. If this business stuff has taught me anything, it is the absolute need to remain balanced and grounded. Especially due to the level of energy I must function at with what I do. Thankfully, Natalie is here to help me with that. Looking forward to sharing the more fun and colorful stuff of what is coming for LUX LLC in the next few weeks and even months. Thanks, guys :)
