I am happy to know that Mr.Paramesh is expelled from the primary membership of SFI for acting against the organisational values and I congratulate Telangana State Committee for the same. But I am not confident that this will solve the crisis in which the HCU unit of SFI has reached. Paramesh may be out formally but the deep roots of the crisis does not lie in the bad intentions of a particular individual, but a particular culture inside the organisation which has been built by a particular group over years, by systematically eliminating or sidelining everyone that have questioned this. This culture consists of characteristic features like compromising with the administration for the personal benefits of some leaders, compromising with practices like ragging to get a few votes from some departments, appeasement of the beneficiaries of the elite culture in the campus, shameless rumour campaigns against the dalit struggles taking place in this campus against this elite culture, undermining of internal democracy inside the organisation and hijacking of the organisational machinery by some Big Brothers etc. The present action taken by the state committee is too superficial to solve this crisis and leaves enough space for the rise of some other anna, (may be a cunning leader in the present leadership who compares himself to a school headmaster quite frequently and sees fellow-comrades as inferior as children) who can keep the organisation in his shadow for coming years. I request comrades not to be eye-washed by this action
