I am having an unusual day. Dont know what i did to twist my fate but, well, here is a 3 hour recap. 15:11. Des called. How was yesterday? he asked. I told him the event went well. I have photos all over my Facebook of the ceremony but he is not my friend on Facebook, he hasnt seen them. I was going to the gym in 30 minutes time, i added. Why? he asked. I havent been to the gym for ages and he knew. :-) I told him i was interested in Yoga again, my FB friend had inspired me with her awesome body (She does yoga and looks great!). Des tells me i was having an Unusual day and murmured something about closing up the office and going home. We said goodbyes. I got dressed for the gym. 17:27. Morrisons. I wanted something to eat, needed to buy a bottle of wine and some finger food too. A couple of friends had told me they where coming over to my flat later today (two of them had come from Nigeria for a friends graduation and where returning soon) and I needed to keep their mouths busy. I made sure to leave my credit card behind and carried a 20 pound bill. Restaurant. I ordered a meal. It would take 7 minutes the waiter said, so i went to the till and paid for a 5 pound lebara credit card and impulsively asked for a 3 pound lottery scratch card (my first Bingo) to keep me busy. back at the restaurant, i scratched the instant lottery ticket and strained my eyes to match the numbers. Bingo! i had won 7 pounds! At this point i had 17 pounds left to buy the things i came for. But i decided to buy more tickets with ALL of it, so I returned to the till, bought 3 tickets of 10,5,2 pounds each and scratched them. The first one won 100 pounds. the second one won 20 pounds. and the third one won 5 pounds. The lady behind me tells me she has never won even 5 pounds before on the scratch cards. I was sure this was unusual, so i cashed my winnings, bought my stuff and returned home. Des was right. I was having an unusual day. The first time i gambled on the most unwinnable things i won 4 times in a row. i am never gambling again. I suspended the gym trip for tomorrow too. :-)
