I am having the worst ear problem, can you help me out??? For like over 2 months in my right ear only I hear what sounds like a heartbeat when listening thru a stethoscope. It started after swimming so naturally I thought it may be swimmers ear or water in my ear. I looked online and have tried numerous home remedies, but nothing works. Sometimes it is worse than others. I can get the noise to stop if I apply pressure inside my ear canal. Like I have to pack it with cotton until it almost hurts. What do you think? Should I just go to the doctor and have it inspected? I found it hard to hear the instructor teaching over the noise sometimes, so it is affecting my quality of life.
