I am having trouble letting go of the idea of a return to Iraq. Perhaps by writing it down, my thoughts on the reasoning for; it might help me. We went into a nation based on lies that was not a threat to us. Sadam H. was not a nice guy but we have relationships with many bad people around the world. He was balancing out Iran; there was peace for us and no anti-American insurgents. After our intervention there is instability in Iraq; we seem to be aligning ourselves; or at least talking about getting closer to Iran. We loss thousands of Americans and caused thousands more to be permanitly disabled. The financial cost is unknowable if you include healthcare for our troops, and the direct aid to Iraq. Now the people who bought us this disaster and who should be disgraced are back on TV and other media saying we need to go back. Otherwise ISIS will be in the streets of America ; they are coming according to Dick Chenny. We did not stay long enough according to the Senator from AZ. The recent attacks on the Homeland have been by people living here; Boston, Times Square; Bundys militia in NV.; cop killers in Las Vegas. Children are overwhelming our borders. Money being spent overseas might be better spent in the ol US of A. BRING ME THE HORIZON up Money, as a wise person once said when the republicats where up to other dirty tricks; follow the Money. The money flows To Connected to the right for overseas construction - Haliburton et al. Money flows to the Arms Merchants; sometimes thought of as Merchants of Death; what good is a warm weapon without using it? The Advantage for Some Americans; about 1% perhaps is to have a permanent WAR. The profits for War related companies goes up. Is this a good reason to return to Iraq? I think Not, you decide.
