I am having trouble with my moss agate. This photo shows little pits where the moss is breaking through the agate and somehow it is not sanding smooth. I have done most of the shaping with a 200 metal wheel. I have done another shield shape which I sanded for about an hour on the 280 and 600 soft wheel and was able to get rid of the pits. What am I doing wrong or what can I do different so I am not burning up my soft wheels sanding out the pits.
