I am honestly getting tired of everyone. Their mothers, brothers and sisters getting all up and arm over Maelstrom. Honestly people, let it go. Just LET IT GO. Its a very out dated ride. But we use to ride it back in the 80s Like look, Disney likes to changes things up. It never likes staying the same. Well they have classic disney like POTC, Haunted Mansion and Small World. Because those things are popular. Disney knows to keep things that are popular but keep them relevant. And also, give them a paint job or special effect so that it doesnt reflect its age. Maelstrom is not relevant anymore. Now that Disney has a character theme that is popular and relevant from the same country. They can simply change its tail feather. If Maelstrom has any necessary need to come back like the Finding Nemo Submarine in Disneyland. That is popular, relevant and doesnt reveal its age. Disney would edit Maelstrom so that it reflects Norway BUT also caters to it being disney.
