I am honestly not speaking as a Jets fan in this post. I am speaking as a sports fan in the name of fair competition. ESPN has reported that 11 of 12 of NEs footballs were found to be under-inflated by 2 lbs. If you think that is just a coincidence then you must think that the Earth is still flat. Once balls are submitted and approved by officials they are NOT allowed to be altered during the games. The Patriots have clearly violated this rule during the AFC Championship Game. You can argue all you want how it wouldnt have made a difference in the outcome of the game the way the Colts were playing but the fact of the matter is, the Colts played the game fair and square and the Patriots did NOT! Yes I am a Jets fan and yes I hate the Patriots because they are my division rivals. I would accept their success and actually respect them if they would not break the rules and stoop to such lows to ensure they win big games. I find myself losing more respect for this league known as the NFL because by not banning the Patriots from Super Bowl 49 they are basically sending the message Hey its ok to cheat and break the rules without having to worry about any severe penalties Please tell me how a fine and a loss of draft picks serves as any deterrence from this happening again As far as Im concerned if your rooting for the Patriots Im not gonna be mad at you but your basically saying its ok to cheat without there being consequences. This is one of the few times I wish the Giants were in the postseason but I have faith that Russell Wilson, Richard Sherman and the Seahawks can show Belicheat that cheating will come back to bite you in the ass. Go Seattle!!!!!
