I am honestly so******** displeased with Joannas teaching methods. How the **** did she even end up being one of the better lecturers as referenced from forums and word of mouth? all she does is rush through the entire lecture. For theory she focuses so much on unimportant stuff like talking about her work experience and all then for calculation she can take less than 15min to explain 1 ***** question when calculation has to be done in detail for greater understanding. Worse part is most times she goes so fast that we dont even manage to complete copying her answers let alone process whatever shes talking about. Not to mention her explanations arent even clear, and worse still when u approach her she can still give u answers that dont answer your question or she can even say that use guess and check method in exams if cant balance then change the exchange rate for eg. She seriously doesnt give any confidence to me via her teaching and for the past couple of months I think i learn more from self studying than listening to her rapping in class. As much as she is always willing and eager to help, I dont think its right for me to approach her after every single class to hog her for answers (when there is so much doubt that she leaves me with) Just the same she wouldnt like to have so many students approach her as well. I, for one have to rush off to another class, and she also has her own schedule after class. P.S: if you think she has great notes to make up for it then: 1. Youre wrong. Her notes are all copied and pasted in large chunks that make my eyes bleed when i read. Everything is off the Deloitte site. 2. Her notes dont help you with shit for calculation questions. PPS: in case anyone is wondering if Im mentally retarded or stupid that I cant cope in her class i can tell you thats not the case. I can hear plenty of people cussing in class as she rushes through the lecture. Admin Ryan : language people, language :) avoid using too much of your Favourite word
