I am in awe of life and its offerings and its insights and its ever unfolding beauty and lessons and gifts. I was washing my hands just now, under the warm water, in my chilly shop, on this my second to last night staying at my beloved IMAGINE (they turn the water off on Monday), and I marveled in gratitude at having running water, and that it was so lusciously warm, and that there was whatever volume I chose, and it felt terrific in contrast to the cold room. And then I wondered at my very first winter living in Gloucester, 96/97, staying at my families cottage, no running water, heat, sort of, but very drafty, lived in the kitchen. And how before that I was living in/out of a van for much of a 3 1/2 year stretch. And how Ive lived simply, very simply, many times in my life. And to have found so much enjoyment, and freedom and laughter and insights and conversations and walks and swims and experiences to be open to. And I realize I have been moving towards my current way of being for over 21 years, been that long since I unplugged and chose to creating an amazingly long string of days of seeing what is there to experience, and to find the joy and to acknowledge with gratitude for the receiving and the giving and the sharing. It is with deep awareness and much thanks that I give these praises to the God energy of all that is.
