I am in favor of a Constitutional Amendment that would do the following things: 1) change the term of House members to 4 years, change the term of the Senate to 8 years. 2) Eliminate the mid-term election cycle. 3) All elections will be held every four years, 100% of the House seats (all 435) and 33% of the Senate (33 seats). 4) MANDATORY term, limits of no more than 12 years of Federal ELECTED service. 5) NO retirement plan EXCEPT for Social Security. 6) Upon completion of your elected service, a life-time ban on Federal influence (lobbyist) and / or employment. 7) Election day is a PAID Federal holiday...(remove Columbus Day from the Holiday schedule to save money) 8) No early voting in Federal elections due to the PAID day off to vote.
