I am in need of urgent advice. Im taking the via train from Ottawa to Dorval tomorrow afternoon with my 16 month old. My MIL said she would pick us up but we just clued in that she doesnt have a car seat. I have a Diono car seat, but I dont think its feasible to bring that, plus LO, suitcase and diaper bag. Lo is 16 months and weighs 30 lbs. Can we brainstorm some safe ideas on how to get to MILs house safely. One option is to walk, its about 40 minutes, dont mind really but its the freezing rain that worries me. Hubby will be driving down on the 24th, after work, quite late.
