I am in pain this morning. It is wrong for us to make a judgment and to indiscriminately kill human beings. The murders of Black men and boys by police has got to stop. This has been going on for over 450 years. So, seriously how long do you think it will take before this generation of young men who are not paralyzed by the fear that controlled the older generations will begin to retaliate? I hate to see anyone murdered in the street. So let me be clear that I dont want to see police murdered in the street either. However, we are deluding ourselves if we jump on the media wagon of sympathy for the officers, honoring the value of their lives and the pain of their families- which is right. But, do not have the same value for the lives of Black men; if you do not feel the pain of the families and an equal amount of honor and Respect for the sanctity of the life of a young Black male. If you find some excuse for failing to honor Black lives, all lives equally - then you are a part of the problem. This imbalance in your thinking is at the root of the injustice in the society. The root of this thinking is I am better. I am better because I am white; which has in over 400 years, produced its reverse; I am less , because I am Black. This is the root problem in humanity and at the core of the thinking of Satan. It is deceptive intelligence that rationalizes disobedience to divine law and denial of Justice in the mind of an individual or of an entire group that is defined by superficial characteristics or associations. This deceptive intelligence causes people to rationalize lying, stealing, murder, rape, war, etc. when it is carried out against the group defined as less than another group of human beings. And it is expressed in this conflict simply as: He is better or his life matters because he is a police man; or his life doesnt matter because he is just another Black male. The rallying cry #BlackLivesMatter is right and exact. We all know that white lives matter. That has never been in question. We all know that blue lives (police lives) matter. That has never been in question. But what needs to be thoroughly questioned and examined is the insanity of racism, white privilege and white supremacy - along with its counter-product of Black inferiority. Let me just be clear: White people are crazy. Only 40 years ago your parents were rationalizing their right to keep Black people from drinking out of the same water fountain or going to the same lunch counters. 140 years ago, your great grandparents were rationalizing their right to own other human beings as slaves. And today many of you are rationalizing the right of policemen to kill Black men in the streets over loose cigaretes. It is what makes some think it is OK to call other human beings animals. This is a disease. You have to own your disease. Stop living like an addict in denial and admit you have a problem. That is the first step along the road to recovery. And by the way, this disease is in all of us. And all of us have to deal with getting it out of ourselves. It is not just in White people, however it is in white people that this disease has reached the apex of its full expression. And in reverse, Black people in America demonstrate the apex expression of the reverse of I am better which manifests as I am less or as Black inferiority. This insanity is real. And until we address this insanity within ourselves, the blood will not stop flowing. I could easily be an apologists or call for all of us to just get along, but that is not my job. My job is to tell the truth. As a Coach, I have never helped anyone by lying to them and passifying them about their mental roadblocks. People are healed when they are given the opportunity to see the hard truths about their own madness and then make a decision to change. As it says in the Bible, the blood will flow in the streets until it reaches the horses bridal. Im not particularly interested in seeing that. But I read the Scriptures and the signs of the times and I know what is coming. We are standing at a crossroads. We can choose life or death. And it begins with the choice of whether we will acknowledge our own mental and spiritual diseases and work to eliminate them or if we choose to live in denial and invite judgment on ourselves and our seed. We stand before two signs today. I pray that we choose life so that we and our seed may live. - Michal Muhammad, Life Coach #LiveFromYourHighestSelf
