I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? On the surface, it - TopicsExpress

I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? On the surface, it is pretty difficult to explain why you believe in God. No one has ever seen Him face-to-face, touched Him, or smelled Him, yet His fingerprints are everywhere. You must get beneath the surface where the intangible becomes tangible. God is made visible through Jesus the Christ. Paul writes that Jesus is the (Visible) image of the invisible God. If you want to know God, you have to learn more about Jesus. If you want to see God, you have to look at Jesus. If you want to please God, You have to follow Jesus. Why? Because He is God in the flesh! Colossians 1:13-29 For He (God the Father) rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son (Jesus), 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of (all) sins. 15 He is the (Visible) image of the invisible God, (His body was) the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by Him (Jesus) all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities -all things have been created through Him and for Him. 17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. 18 He (Jesus) is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. 19 For it was the Fathers good pleasure for all the fullness (of the God Head, God the Father and God the Holy Spirit) to dwell in Him, 20 and through Him (Jesus) to reconcile (make Peace and Restore) all things to Himself (God the Father), having made peace through the blood of His cross;(Jesus) through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven. 21 And although you were formerly alienated and hostile in mind, engaged in evil deeds, 22 yet (as Born Again Believers) He (God) has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach - 23 if indeed you continue in the faith firmly established and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel that you have heard, which was proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, was made a minister. 24 Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I do my share on behalf of His body, which is the church, in filling up what is lacking in Christs afflictions. 25 Of this church I was made a minister according to the stewardship from God bestowed on me for your benefit, so that I might fully carry out the preaching of the word of God, 26 that is, the mystery which has been hidden from the past ages and generations, but has now been manifested to His saints, 27 to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ (indwelling through the Holy Spirit) in you, the hope of glory. 28 We proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete (in body, soul and born again spirit) in Christ. 29 For this purpose also I labor, striving according to His power, which mightily works within me. When Jesus came to the earth, in Him was God the Father and God the Holy Spirit. That is why you read in the Gospels that Jesus kept saying, He could only do what He saw His Father doing, and only say what He heard His Father saying. John 5:18-19 For this reason the Jews tried all the harder to kill him; not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God. 19 Jesus gave them this answer: I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. Yes, Jesus the Christ is the visible image of the invisible God and the Head of the church, which is His Body/Bride. So to know more about God, you have to know more about Jesus. John 14:7-13 If you had known Me (Jesus), you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him. 8 Philip said to Him, Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us. 9 Jesus said to him, Have I been so long with you, and yet you have not come to know Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say, Show us the Father ? 10Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on My own initiative, but the Father abiding in Me does His works. 11 Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; otherwise believe because of the works themselves. 12 Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. 13 Whatever you ask in My name (Jesus), that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.........amen. **** 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, tells you the Pure Gospel of Gods Grace for Your Salvation, by Faith alone, in what Jesus has done **** https://youtube/watch?v=ENtL_li4GbE
