I am increasingly persuaded that anger is an inappropriate response to the pronouncements of self-regarding boors such as Clarkson, Kyle and Paxman. One should, rather, treat them with the irritated forbearance one might afford a spoilt, attention-seeking brat. Indeed, the word Jeremy is fast becoming a euphemism, if not a synonym, for an individual whose mouth works at several times the speed of their brain. Perhaps its only other people called Jeremy who have cause to be angry.
