I am just getting up to speed where the pipeline in concerned and there seems to be a great deal of conflict and confusion between the information being released by the Department of State, which is headed by the former CEO of a giant petro-chemical company, and its opponent, which is headed by a European banker. All that I have learned thus far is that the amount of oil that will, if the pipeline act is passed, be transported is the equivalent of the hydro-carbons generated by the construction of 46 new coal plants. As care of the environment was one of the major platforms in the Presidents 2012 election platform, all of America, especially the young voters, will be watching Obama closely on this one. The question that I cannot reconcile is HOW can the CEO of EXXON-MOBIL, the countrys greatest advocates of fracking can say on the one hand that this method of oil extraction is not only GOOD for America and harmless, but one the other hand, raise the same allegations as environmental Americans in the court Complaint that he and his neighbors filed to INJOIN the fracking process when the 100 water tower the process requires was erected on his 80 acre estate. Maybe, Americans need to examine the CEOs pleadings to see what allegations against fracking that he makes BEFORE we vote on this important and irrevocable legislation. Mr. Bamberg, by way of dissent, maintains that 1,400 Americans were moving to Texas daily to become a part of this process. That could very easily prove that there are that many dumb-asses in this country who are more than willing to sell out our environment to make a living. Me, Id much rather review the allegations contained in the CEOs court pleadings, most of which will be made under OATH, before I make my decision,
