I am just now able to sift through the many photos my daughter Lexi took today at the Mystery of the Eagles Nest launch. I was so moved to see so many people on my front lawn, ready to celebrate with my family and I. I joked with a few, that I had closed the campground gates, and wouldnt let the campers out, until the event was over. Hope, and the staff from Wind Over Wings, were amazing! Their stories, especially Skyes story, were very powerful and I was moved to tears several times. Please find them and like them on FB. Signing books and talking to my readers is so much fun! One young man said, Well, you certainly are good at cliff hangers! What happens in chapter 2? I cant wait till I get home! Of course, I made him wait. Thank you, to everyone who was able to attend, and also to those of you who sent messages of support beforehand. I couldnt have pulled everything together on time, hours after a huge Halloween party, without my Family Camping in Maine - Poland Spring Campground staff. Im very grateful to to Melissa Kim, and Islandport Press for their help in planning such a magical launch. Big hugs and kisses to my family for driving all the way to Maine to be here today. And to David, Ben, and Lexi ~ love ya!
