I am just so grateful right now! This time last year was rough: My oldest daughter had so many obstacles, her grades were low, she was fighting with how to fit in, battling her own emotions and trying build a relationship with myself as she entered her freshman year in high school. I decided last year that between her and her sister (the ungrateful one) they would not recieve anything for Christmas especially being that I had to take a temporary leave from work to get my freshman back on track. Well Im glad to say that aside from expected teenage drama and Amayah of course they both have given their all. I Went back to work and told them we had to be a team. My now 10th grader has brought her grades up tremendously, joined an college prep group, and taking advance classes. My 10 year old (punk rock star). Joined student council, math at a 5th grade level and has nothing but good reviews from her teachers (which says she is just fabulous) and they both do what they need to do to help me out around the house while I work. I got a new position which I fought hard for and am fighting to keep after my 3 month probation period(which comes with a raise)everything is falling in.place for the most part. See the trials we faced did not keep us down, they made us better and we have a way to go!
