I am just spent. The vet got here over an hour early so I had to keep the kids up and in my room watching TV so they did not have to witness Zolas last breaths. The kids cried all afternoon and evening and I dont mean tears- I mean wailing. They cried through dinner, cried brushing their teeth and its been heartbreaking to watch on top of my own heart breaking. Cade is probably taking it the hardest and I can still hear him crying. We lost our horse Suzy this year and he is old enough to remember the loss of the two labs I had for a long time- Molly and Logan. It breaks my little animal lover and activists heart. Anna Lea asked me how you get over this pain. She said Mom you lost your Dad, Aunt Toopie, Molly, Logan and Suzy. How did you deal with all that pain, Mom? And poor Cameron who is the protector in the family doesnt know who to comfort first. It was way worse than I thought it was going to be tonight. The covers are calling my name.
