I am laying here in a hospital bed waiting to see if I will be needing surgery. This week I have been experiencing abdominal pain and finally threw in the towel and called my doctor to make an appointment yesterday. She is on vacation. Scott suggested to call his doctor and I did but didnt get a call back. So I drove myself to the hospital. At this point, all I want is antibiotics. Im at the hospital and they think I have a kidney stone but want do to a CAT Scan. The scan shows I have a hole in my lower colon and immediately they are putting an IV in me. The Surgeon suggested pumping antibiotics into me first to see if my body will fight this so the next 24 to 48 hours is crucial. I have to get out of here, my son is getting married next weekend.
