I am literally going to smash the skull of the next nitwit who blames the employees at Market Basket, for whats going on behind corporate doors, the bottom line is GREED, this chain had a charismatic, successful CEO in Arthur T, but his cousin Arthur S. has been trying to get majority shares in this company, in order to fulfill a personal vendetta against Arthur T, Arthur S is everything that is wrong with corporate America all rolled up into one uptight, uncaring, profit hungry package, and he finally found a way to get rid of the guy who helped build the single best business model in the last 30 years, a man so loved by his employees, that they are willing to stand up to the man that would destroy this company from within, Arthur S had plans to syphon off the surplus that Arthur T built up, divide it among his cronies, and take the company stock public, thus insuring that there would be layoffs, and stores closings of the less profitable stores, in order to show liquidity to the FTC, and Wall Street, he doesnt give a SHIT about the people who work for him, as he has shown from day one of this strike, Arthur S. is everything that is evil, and wrong with todays corporate climate, hes a money hungry bully, where as the noblesse oblige approach of Arthur T. who has a true sense of who the company really is, it is the people who both work, and shop there, both groups of whom Arthur S. has shown open contempt for, and he shall reap the bitter fruit of the seeds he has planted, this is why anyone who supports this COLOSSAL SPHINCTER MUSCLE, can remove me from their friends list, and die in a fire at Christmas, or step in front of a moving train, the choice is yours!
