I am literally in awe of Chaim Millers biography of the Rebbe. What an incredible book. The level of meticulous thoroughness, the skilled flow of the writing, and the human picture he paints of the Rebbe (and what a beautiful human he was!) is staggering in its nuance and sweeping depth. I know how long a single footnote can take and the hundreds of footnotes attest to the professionalism and respect for sources this book is founded on. A must read. Truly. I love the claim by academics that chassidim are incapable of objective portrayals of their leaders.
