I am looking for people interested in becoming part of a team to open a Street University on the Sunshine Coast. This will be an open learning environment where anyone who wants to make positive change in their life can come and try different trades/skills or classes and learn how to overcome hurdles in their lives, such as poverty, discrimination, abusive situations, addictions, unstable homes, homelessness and academic challenges. There will be no cost to any student for classes or counseling the only condition of them attending is that they want to change their life. There will be mentoring programs by qualified teachers, trade people and counselors which will foster positive changes through goal setting, self-discipline, skill development, and friendship based on biblical principles.
