I am looking to hire a part time sitter for our eight year old son. He has high functioning Autism as well as ADHD, both are well controlled with medication. We are interested in hiring someone twice a month on a Friday or Saturday evening to stay in our home with our son. So that my husband and I can have date night times. We would need the person to stay with our son for 4-6 hours per evening in our home. This position may require preparing a light meal for dinner. After we become well acquainted, we are interested in possibly working out an overnight or even a weekend situation. Again after a few months of us all getting to know each other. I am willing to pay 10.00 an hour to the person that we hire as a sitter for the 4-6 hour evenings. We could work out a fair price for overnight / weekend situations as we get to that point. This position is located here in Moultrie. My husband and I do have a few requirements. 1. Person applying must be at least 21 with a clean current background check. 2. Applicant must be able to provide personal as well as professional references. 3. We prefer that any applicant would have experience working with Autistic / ADHD children. 4. Must have clean driving record and reliable transportation. 5. Our son would greatly benefit from one on one time, so we prefer that no other children are brought with the sitter.
