I am lying on my bed pondering over how great my little vacation was and I met some wonderful people as well... I found myself taking notice of the crew members.... One male bar staff member 38 years old works 13 hours a day seven days a week on an 8 month contract..all his money goes to his family in Fiji to help... Goes home for a few months then back on board. I also met another hospitality staff member in the same boat family in Vanuatu, smiles all the time and I counted her in four different areas in one day.Working her ass off. they sleep in Shared accommodation in the bottom of the ship very little freedom... When I was in functions and we ran a few different events on a row we were buggered and we whinged and we only had a few hundred not a few thousand.., I have a great deal of respect for the value they place on their families and the sacrifices they make it wouldnt be the ideal job working on a cruise line. Take my hat off to them
