I am making an announcement a few days before it meant to happen. But I am obliged to do it now because of some comments I noticed on my last FB post. Some people seem to be worried and some pessimistic about what can be done. Together with some of our friends we are setting up a peoples movement on corruption. It is a Rawand or Baheer of Anti-Corruption. In English we call it Movement but maybe it is something else. We will be formally announced soon. This is a volunteer group doing advocacy and act as a pressure group to ensure the new gov is taking all the right steps to clean up the mess PKs gov and its partners created in the last 13 years. We will begin with setting up priorities for the first 100 days of the gov and will be monitoring the changes requested. We are in the process of setting up networks in all the provinces and have begun with Faryab, Herat and Jalalabad. This is a completely volunteer movement and is not a project or an NGO. People own it and there is no one leader or manager. There are 25 people coordinating the efforts from Kabul. We will be creating sectoral committees and need others to join us and begin working in their chosen sector. More later.....
