I am mindful of others and their day to day challenges. I spend a great deal of time helping everyday people make their daily struggles more bearable. Along the way, I face terrible criticisms too. I get called all manner of names for my beliefs and actions. I learned to accept all labels that do not match the true character. If I get wronged for doing what is right, then so be it. Anyone in a public position will be harshly criticized by those who feel threatened for varying reasons. As one wise elder told me once, "Pride is a poison pill against good Christian character." Let your actions speak louder than words. I will not always agree with some people but that does not diminish their value before God. That is why we bless when we are wronged. Please bless all our leaders today. They need encouragement too. They may not like you personally, but that is beside the true point.
