I am more than ready for Aug 31- Sep 7 to get away and TRY to decompress and celebrate 25 great years with my great man ( Terry Wayne Cooley) but before that happens we need prayer for Sarah-Kathryn ... Sugars are running very very high! 455 yesterday 380 today even with 20units of insulin (thats a lot) ... The endocrinologist d/cd her Metformin last week because she just could not tolerate it - we were trying to make it til Sept 30th when she turns 18 to start Amaryl commonly known as Glipizide. After seeing her today completely incoherent and lethargic, I contacted the specialist and we started Amaryl three times a day (thats a large starting dose) .... This mom is a basket case- not to mention her missing school already. Honestly, the nicest way I can say it ... DIABETES AND ALL OF THE SECONDARY PROBLEMS S T I N K!!!!!!! #Calgontakemeawayanddontbringmeback!!
