I am new to the group. I have an eight year old son who was diagnosed at two years old. The dr. at the time just told us he had an immune disorder that he would grow out of and that he shouldnt have milk or wheat. We had allegery testing done and found out that he was not allegric to either one. I recently asked his dr. for the name of the immune disorder to give the information to his new school and they told me. I cannot believe we have known for six years (of hell btw...he was diagnosed with ADHD, ODD, and Pedatric Bipolar and has many ASD tendencies) but really was not given the information. We were lead to believe it was no big deal. Well, we found out on Thursday so we made sure to buy him a bunch of fruit and veggies.....it is a start to helping him out.
