I am newie to the Riverland and I must say I love the community spirit. I joined this Facebook forum to get to know local knowledge. I am currently home schooling my madam 17 (you know that age that they know everything and as a mum can not share my knowledge with her). She has a chronic medical illness (not terminal but will be if not treated) So online learning gives her that flexibility and able to attend her medical appointments without the stress of her study. Now for the question of local knowledge, she is taking a photography class online, I need to take her to show some old buildings with interesting windows. Any suggestions where their is great historical buildings; churches etc. I will go to the information centre to ask the same but any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I live in Barmera. :)
