I am no fan of all the so called tax reform McCrory and his cronies have made in our state, but everyone so upset over the tax free weekend going away is just silly. No real money was saved that weekend because stores didnt run any good sales. All you saved was 6 to 8% (based on where you lived). The weekend before and after had the real savings! Big sales then. The only people making out good tax free weekend were the stores! Just saying!
