I am no movie critique as I have always found them profusely - TopicsExpress

I am no movie critique as I have always found them profusely biased and faddy. For reviews I have my real articulate buds Ahmed Anushree Sooraj and Vinay. Nonetheless many have been poking me (obvious reasons) for a Jai Ho Review, so I will keep it unbiased. :D Salman Khan was never known for his acting prowess since Wanted. Albeit few may consider it moot. He is at a career juncture when a mammoth hit or damp squib changes nothing. The fan following can only swell and not reduce. Thus many may be surprised by my review but I will always be a Sallu fan. This doesnt change anything: D. Jai Ho like any other Sallu movie is about his larger-than-life persona. By Bollywood standards, he is considered even bigger than hulk, thus surreal action is assured. Songs are anything but tolerable. Bruna Abdullah looks better/hotter and is more noticeable than the newbie Daisy Shah. Too many blink-and-you-miss-it characters, (Danny Denzongpa included) make it an eye-sore at times. The movie is fun in bits and parts but by end turns out to be a drag. Jai Ho epitomizes - fence eating the crop. A movie is the director’s vision, seldom an actor’s. Salman is in top form but Sohail Khan in his greed to out-do Arbaaz Khan and the likes of him to enter the ‘100 Cr club’ has goofed up big time. Cutting to the chase- As always watch it only if u have the slightest liking for Salman Khan else give it a miss!
