I am not a partisan politician but my pain at d moment is d just d lack of direction i observed in d new political approaches by Northern politicians. Is like Northern Nigeria has lost its political bearing and this might be d reason for some eminent political elites to keep mute and ignore anything politics in their lifetime. For instance, people like Mahamud Waziri; Umar Aliyu Shinkafi; General TY Danjuma; Lt. Gen. Jerry Boy and few others who choose to stay mute because they discovered that d North is not politically serious. To them its better they keep quite and maintain their national respect than to take part in political chaculete that earns no respects. Ordinarily as a young man who lacks money and powers now for active participation in Nigerian politics either from d grassroots of from d sky, yet i questioned d possibility of power shift to d North and i doubt much if APC can see light of d day in d forthcoming 2015 General Elections. Going by d Northern political history of how APP transformed to ANPP which subsequently became CPC and recorded nothing but failure all along. Except in few Northern states where Federal and State Constituencies manifested along with Local Government councils representations. However, d formation of a baseless opposition was as a result of gross failure and d inability of these weak parties to adequately mobilize people from d grassroots and perhaps maximize support for participation. It was also argued that, transmodifications of same APP was a pure handiwork of betrayed politicians who eventually became politically irrelevant in d polity and those few who could not manifest with victory from other parties like PDP for instance. All of a sudden APC emerged in d polity today, formed by same group. APC has now put attempts to define or descrives d accumulated anger of those who feel betrayed in d past elections under d flat form of PDP, particularly their approaches to Presidential post from 1999 polls. Most of them decamped from PDP and they are now operating on d influence of political anger triggered by political actions of d ruling party PDP. It has been d practice of Nigerian political class and d system all along e.g. NPN Vs PRP and other paties, d story remain d same. It was only unfortunate for NPN that Shagari could not continue with tazarce as d Military coup terminated d Second Republic. By d way, my few questions here are: 1. Janar Buhari is credible and competent but how realistic is his victory having contested and been defeated three times in d General Elections? 2. How serious is d North this time around particularly with d invention of a brand new APC? 3. Is Janar Buhari not respected in APC and that he has to compete with Atiku and Kwankwaso in d party primaries before getting APC Presidential Tiket for 2015 Presidential Election? 4. What is going to be d faith of APC in d Northern region if defeated in 2015 polls? 5. What may likely happen again if PDP won or rigged election again, bearing in mind d post-election violence in some Northern states that resulted to lost of lives and properties? I think Northern politicians are not any serious if Janar Buhari, Atiku and Kwankwaso made their respective declarations in APC. Its my humble opinion that Northern Nigeria lost its political bearing. Kaico! Allah wadai naka ya lalace.
