I am not a reader kind of a person. I hardly read anything. I don’t have the time or patience to sit in once place reading a book to the last leaf! When I see many share their reading experience of a particular book or anything, I just think why I am not reading anything! I also feel bad about my not reading anything seriously. I read posts in face book if I find it interesting, short and worth reading. That’s how I started following Praveen.P.Gopinath’s aka Mr. Mallu status updates. Those were little incidents from life written beautifully with a nice ending note. We may not feel any big deal to share those little crumbs but when we think a little bit more in a different perspective it really has something to convey. I may be the last person to get the book “Being moon on 31st cross road”!!! I usually read the first few pages of a book and then keep it aside to complete it later; eventually I forget about it. :P But this book made me read it in a flow. Though I had breaks in between I always made sure that I read at least a chapter a day. :) What I felt about the book is not a kind of confession and learning through experience but a wise and matured clear headed man in the making day by day learning from the minutest experience that passes him through. I may not be right, but that’s what I felt. I am no good reader and so will be my reviews too! Sorry! What astonished me the most is the handing over of the manuscripts to Jamie with the trust he builds up on her in that first meeting which was too short for anybody else to behave so! I have seen people become restless if we borrow their pen to write down something urgent for a minute! That itself shows the kind of person he is! :D The titles and the ending notes were awesome! There are some irrelevant things which we feel has nothing to convey but the ending notes make it all different and make immensely pertinent! Beautifully narrated with ease and in simple language and precisely conveyed. I read the whole book just like Jamie sat listening to the whole story! The explanation about the title was exceptional; I always wondered what kind of a title is that?! Nothing more to say! Thank you so much Praveen Bhai for giving me a wonderful interesting reading experience with a lot of nice little things which help us look at life with a different perspective and love it and live it to the fullest. Thank you for reminding once again to look around and see the positivity in the negativity! You are one among a few who really made me think and inspired me to pen down little things from my life. Keep writing! Waiting for your next book!
