I am not a religious man nor am I an expert on all things biblical, but I think conflating nationalism with Christianity is idolatrous. There is a sort of Christ-less Christianity that has taken hold among those who claim to be God fearing men and women. Anybody who knows anything about the biblical Jesus knows that he wouldnt sanction this social darwinism, this laissez-faire, survival of the fittest, corporate attack on the poor and the less fortunate. How can you claim to be a Christian and have so much hate in your heart for your fellow human beings. What happened to the social gospel? What happened to do unto others as you would have done unto you? Where in the Bible does it say that caring for the poor and the sick is bad for society? I just dont get it.
