I am not a shopper. Much to my husbands delight, I never have been. In fact, I am probably the antithesis of a shopper. I loathe going into a store just to look around. I dont enjoy the crowds or the stress. If at all possible, I will do every bit of my Christmas shopping from the comfort of my own home. The only threshold I will cross ungrudgingly is that of a grocery store. And if, by chance, I do have to spend a collection of moments within the confines of a store...rest-assured...theres gonna be a list. I will say, the SINGLE exception to my anti-shopping platform is IKEA. I do so enjoy letting time pass inside those walls. But today....ooooooohhhh today!!!! Today...the skies pooped rainbows and butterflies because I discovered a little slice of happiness. Because I discovered today that right beside IKEA, is a Hobby Lobby. And two doors down from Hobby Lobby, is a World Market. And directly beside World Market, is an Old Navy (the majority supplier of my childrens clothes). And for a brief, husband-stressing block of time, I was converted....because that was just plain fun.
