I am not always the most social or sociable of people. I do often need gentle cajoling/forward planning/teams of horses sometimes to get me out of the house for social events. Im very grateful, therefore, that yesterday saw me drinking Smithwicks in the early afternoon while taking in the ballgame at Durty Nellys with Courtney Leigh James and Stasha Wyskiel (watching the Giants lose a promising 0-1 lead to finally recover for a 5-6 win -- yey!), then going to Ramendan at Annelise Esilennas place in the evening with Josh Greenwalt, Erik the Viking, Eileen Hoyt, Paul McEnery, Gabe Lynch, and a whole host of other fun people last night, both familiar and strange (some both familiar AND strange). Its days like that that make me question my semi-serious commitment to a semi-hermitic existence. Thank you all.
