I am not comfortable with the News that there is Boko Haram in Bida in niger state. To be sincere with you since when the chief servant clear the settlement in Darsalam alone mokwa road Bida has been relative stable without any major crisis talkless of religious extremism. I will hate to hear that military JTF are deployed to Bida and make life difficult for the inhabitants. Presence of security men in time peace is capacity of becoming counterproductive. Please let investigate the matter with maturity. Do not allow it to degenerate into something else. Or other use the opportunity to settle score with some sect. History of Nigeria show that Bida as a gateway to western part of the country was peaceful even during civil War. No one was killed. Even those that run away come back to meet their properties intact. Our leaders preach peace and ulama always pray for peace in any given opportunity. We respect the elders and their decision culturally. Hence no person or group is allow to take laws into his or her hands because there is always a mechanism to check excesses. Immorality is not allow within the walls of Bida and we listen to our traditional leaders. Please reconsider!
